Jen was here taking pictures of all the old photos on the den wall. Then she isolated this "Margaret Ann and her Mommie" and sent it to Margo. It was too large, but Maria edited it down to blog size. Enjoy!

Practice, practice, practice...

OK! After many starts and stops, we're trying it again. Jen left us right after the New Year and I sat here and tried to add something but I could not. Maria has given me a day now and we down-loaded my pictures from Jan 18. Dr Jon came for a quick week-end and it was fun. We had dinner to celebrate Mark's birthday on Sunday the 18th. Before we did that Jon and I visited David and Charlotte because they had all the kids over for lunch. I wanted to see the little babies and was able to get a few pictures. Jon took some and he might send them sometime. Charlotte also took photos and she also could send them to us. I did get Esther rocking little Asher. She said he loves being rocked.
Jon left us on Inaugeral Day. That was exciting, to see President Obama inaugerated and the crowds were amazing. Toni and John Gibson were right there in the middle of and has sent up photos of that historic event. Great pictures.

Maria and I had lunch today on her day off and then shopped. We were excited to find more Laurel Burch fabric. I have tried now to add the Laurel Burch stuff Maria and I finished and was unsuccessful. I'm going to send them to Jen and perhaps she can add them.
I had a comment today from Sarah and I was happy to hear from you Sarah. Jen is my teacher but we were unable to add anything today. I wanted to add the wonderful picture Mary took of your Julia. I saw that right after she posted it and thought it was a picture she had taken previously because Julia looked so bright and alert. She wasn't a week old! I will also send a picture of baby Toni with her Mom. Seems there is a resemblance. All of these lovely little babies make 2008 a very special year.
Toni said she cannot open the blog so you should show her Sarah. I hope you are doing very well with Julia. Toni said she nurses successfully and then sleeps in her Daddy's arms. I hope you will take a nap when Julia does. Love to all

We're off to eat the queso, the wonderful queso of Burque. Mema had pasta. This is Margo and Jen's favorite thing to do - be a tourist in their own town! They have invited me to join them. I only get to come if I pay. Ooooppps. Guess I blew that one...
